While in the process of transferring law schools, I was a summer clerk for the 16th District of the Tennessee Attorneys General in Rutherford County and a real property legal assistant for the Office of Real Property within Tennessee's Department of Environment & Conservation.
While enrolled in law school (1L), I engaged with the school's Family & Small Business and TechInLaw centers to understand operational needs and dynamics of law firms as technology changes legal service for clients.
Prior to law school, I worked for three start-ups, where I sold AI-powered workforce training technology, tackled California fire permitting & safety compliance, and sold construction industry business solutions.
I interned with three groups at the local, state, and federal levels of government during college. These roles offered course credit and professional experience in Nashville and DC before I embarked on seeking admission into law school.
Before college I ran a landscaping outfit in my hometown, "The Murfreesboro Backyard Company," until I sold the business in 2019. Being my own boss has helped me think like one ever since.
