While enrolled in law school (1L), I engaged with the school's Family & Small Business and TechInLaw centers to understand firm & client dynamics and operational needs of small firms as technology changes legal services.
Prior to law school, I worked for three start-ups, where I sold AI-powered workforce training technology, tackled California fire permitting & safety compliance, and sold construction industry business solutions.
I interned with three groups at the local, state, and federal levels of government during college. These roles offered course credit and professional experience in Nashville and DC before I embarked on law school.
Before college I ran a landscaping outfit in my hometown, "The Murfreesboro Backyard Company," until I sold the business in 2019. Being my own boss has helped me think like one ever since.
