Prior to matriculating into Memphis Law, I was a summer clerk with Harrison Litigation Team & Shelter Insurance. I also reacquainted myself with my home state's legal community and attorney-focused organizations.
After my private sector experiences after college in DC, I was a clerk for the 16th District of the Tennessee Attorneys General in Rutherford County. I was also a real property legal assistant for the State of Tennessee's Department of Environment & Conservation.Â
Prior to law school, I moved to DC and worked for three start-ups. I sold AI-powered workforce training technology, tackled California fire permitting & safety compliance, and consulted for construction-industry clients.
During college, I interned in and with groups surrounding local, state, and federal levels of government during college. These roles offered course credit, professional experience in Nashville and DC, and awareness of my legal interests before seeking admission into law school.
Before shipping off to Boulder, I ran a landscaping outfit in my hometown, "The Murfreesboro Backyard Company," until I sold the business in 2019. Being my own boss has helped me think like one ever since.
